Well lit and sunny exposition. Loves heat. Take care not to over water, especially in cooler season. Best to let soil surface dry between watering. Can be grown successfully in pots or grown outdoors with the possibility of lifting and potting up for early winter use. | ||||

Harvest developed leaves may to october and use fresh in tomato sauces, in salads with tomato and in pesto sauce or soup. Dry remaining leaves in autumn before first frosts to ensure winter supply. | ||||
