Culture

| Sow seeds under cover Jan to June at 18 - 20 C. Germination in 10 - 20 days. Prick out and grow on in pots, planting out in autumn or spring at 50 cm distance. Soil light and pH 7.5 -8. May need staking in exposed locations.Can be propagated by root heal cuttings. Cut down excess leaf growth in late autumn. | ||||

Pick complete stem of flowers when well open in full sunlight and air dry. Flowers are resistant to rain whilst on plant but will eventually spoil. Store dried flowers in light free but airy place. | |||
