| With stems of 1m this species of statice is perfect for dried flower bouquets. A multitude of tiny blue and white flowers bloom from Aug to October. Also available in purple as C. Dazzlling Blue. | ||||

Culture

| Sow seeds under cover Jan to June at 18 - 20 C. Germination in 10 - 20 days. Prick out and grow on in pots, planting out in autumn or spring at 50 cm distance. Soil light and pH 7.5 -8. Will need staking in most locations.Can be propagated by root heal cuttings. Cut down excess leaf growth in late autumn. | ||||

Pick complete stem of flowers when well open in full sunlight and air dry. Flowers are resistant to rain whilst on plant but will eventually spoil. Store dried flowers in light free but airy place. | |||
