| Plenty of high quality sweet tasting fruits, even in open ground. These small grey melons are the best tasting, from rustic trouble free plants. | ||||

Culture
|
||||
| Plant out plugs once the last frosts have passed. Although not compolsory it is a good idea to contain the plant growth for the highest productivity. Once developed follow the rule of four = after four leaves have formed pinch out the top, on the side shoots that develop, pinch after the fourth leaf on each, continue one more time on the laterals that develop then pinch out all tips. | ||||

Harvest/Use

| If the fruits come away once pulled they are ripe. Avoid cutting or pulling unripe fruits since the flavour will not be as good if not ripened on the vine. | ||||
